Phase III Launch: Empowering Students to Build Academic Self-Confidence
"We are not just talking about building self-confidence; we are talking about building a movement."
In UNBREAKABLE Episode 23, we officially transitioned into the third phase of our mission at the UDIMKING Education Foundation. After 24 weeks of discussing the roles of parents and teachers, we have now turned our focus directly to the most important person in the room: The Student.
What is Phase III?
Phase III is titled "Empowering Students to Build Self-Confidence." This phase recognizes that while parents and teachers provide the foundation, the student is the one who must walk into the examination hall alone. Our goal is to ensure they walk in with integrity and a mind that is unbreakable by the pressure to cheat.
The Journey So Far
To understand where we are going, we must look at what we have covered in our previous 24 broadcasts:
-
The Parent's Role
Correcting mistakes like being overly critical, over-protecting, or setting unrealistic expectations.
-
The Teacher's Role
Focusing on creating a safe environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Join the Movement
We are calling on all students across Nigeria to join this movement. We believe in a generation of students who are determined to succeed without compromising their values.
Coming Up Next
In the coming weeks, we will be providing specific "Lectures and Tips" for students who are struggling. We will cover:
- How to overcome the fear of failure.
- How to set goals that you can actually reach.
- How to master your study schedule.
- The difference between "learning" and "cramming."
